The solution:
Traditional vending machines feel visually disconnected from gaming spaces and don’t engage younger audiences who are drawn to interactive, playful environments. The challenge was to design a machine that feels familiar to Minecraft players while still functioning as a real-world object.
The vending machine was designed using simplified geometry inspired by Minecraft’s visual language. Pixel-style textures, bold color blocks, and modular sections reference in-game elements while keeping the structure readable and practical. The result was a vending machine that feels immersive without sacrificing usability.
